**REVIEW** Miss Me Not by Tiffany King

Falling for an author in one genre and then realizing that she rocks others is
not something you get al the time but Tiffany King has shown me that it is
100% doable!

Miss Me Not is a beautiful story of self-discovery, forgiveness, caring, and love.
Madison Hanson's past demons have given her a shadow of an existence with little hope. With the sudden tragic death of a fellow student, Madison questions her own life choices, and is now forced to evaluate everything she thought she believed in. When fate intervenes and partners her with Dean Jackson, a popular "all around good guy" from school, Madison gets a glimpse of a life that is filled with sunshine that has the power to break through the darkness she has cloaked herself in. With Dean's help, Madison discovers a desire to finally step out of the shadows, and embrace life and all its gifts.

Review

This is so different than the Saving Angels series that made me fall in love with Tiffany King and her fabulous writing.  You know what though this made me love her more!  This story has so much depth and emotion that I found myself completely submerged and at times gasping for air.  Yes I held my breath more than once throughout this read and when tragedy struck more than one my heart ached and tears threatened to spill.   Miss Me Not is a beautiful, tragic and heart warming read, with Tiffany King's spectacular writing it was both vivid and dramatic.

The story is not something that is outlandish, it's something that many teens or really people deal with every day.  Something horrible happened to he when she was thirteen and she never lived it down and still lives with the horror every day.  With no one to talk to and a mother that all but ignores her existence Madison chooses to be a shadow, someone that isn't there.  Her only friend lives the same type of existence and neither one of them want it anymore but when they think they are going to get out the unexpected happens, a fellow student takes his life and saves them.  Problem with being saved when you didn't want to be is that means that everything you wanted or never wanted changes.  Now faced with the problem of being alive Madison has to try and in the process possibly loose her secrets.

Every step of this story my heart went out to Madison.  This girl had honestly been put through hell and really didn't see any other out than her pact with James.  Thing is some things stay with you no matter how long you try to escape and when you don't try to escape they fester and eat you alive.  Thing is even knowing that she wanted to end it and only lived because someone else beat her to it, her new desire to live even if it isn't perfect and she still moves forward.  There is an inner strength in this girl like no other she just needed the support for it to com out.

Dean oh how I love you.  This guy melted my heart and I prayed that Madison could open up to him.  Though I did doubt his motives for a bit, I don know anyone who wouldn't.  Now not that Madison wasn't good enough because deep down she was but guys that shine just don't normally see the shadows.  Dean did though, he seen Mads (as he called her) and he seen who she really was not just the hard withdrawn exterior.   He slowly worked his way in and didn't give up.  In reality I think most guys would have but there is always one diamond it seems and he was it.  He is definitely one in a million and Madison was lucky.  What these two had wasn't  rushed and was truly beautiful.

Miss Me Not is not a book to be over looked.  This is one that I know I will find myself reading again. The depth, heart and sheer emotional pull of this book will completely captivate you.  Tiffany King is quite talented and her ability to write in more than one genre proves that.

Quotes
Mr. Wilson our douche bag principal, decided to inform us of Mitch's death between news of an upcoming carwash fundraiser and a threat to crack down on student littering.  How he had reached the conclusion that this was the best spot for an announcement like this was beyond me.

I didn't need her to save me.  Mitch had unintentionally done that by taking his own life.

I had cluched at the idea of suicide being a viable out for so long that I felt shaky and strung out as the idea of actually living loomed in front of me.

The plain and simple fact was everyone sinned.  Either they were good at hiding their sins, or they weren't.  I fell in the latter category.  My sins had been featured front and center,...

I was no longer invisible or a shadow.  Now I was the crazy, book-throwing freak, which turned out not to be all that bad when I realized that half the student body seemed afraid of provoking me.

**Note:  I had almost 20 quotes from this that I LOVED!! It was hard to pick
through them and pick ones to share.  You need to read this to see all
of them and undertsnad why I had so many to choose from!!

  3. I don't believe I have read anything negative about this author or her stories. Not one time. This sounds like a good book. Such a great story. I love books that feature HOPE. That is always a wonderful thing for me. Thank you for the review. I will have to check this one out.
