She thought she stopped the evil.
She thought she was safe.
Everything she thought was wrong.
Almost four months have passed since Evie Starling learned she was a Tracker and helped defeat a Daevos Clan that was taking others like her—but that wasn’t the end of the abductions. As an unknown evil emerges, Evie vows to help solve the mystery of the missing Trackers, regardless of the risk.
With new powers she doesn’t understand and can’t control, she turns to Alex and Emil, her two soul mates, for help. But her feelings for them both are tearing her apart. She knows she has to decide between them; however, her memories are only making that choice more difficult.
As the world around her is thrown into chaos, Evie is confronted with what could be a destiny-altering truth. Will she accept her history, her memories, and her role in this life, or choose to ignore the echoes of her past?

Angela Corbett has completely blown me away with this one.  I really enjoyed Eternal Starling but I am head over heels in love with Eternal Echoes.  The writing was wonderful and I was completely attached to the story, waiting to see who would be chosen and what was going to happen.  I would be lying if I said that I didn't spend most of a night reading this because my school work attempted to keep me away.  However, Eternal Echoes thankfully won the all night coin flip and I couldn't be happier about it.

Though it has been awhile since I picked up Eternal Starling it was easy to remember what had happened and where everything left off.  Even if you have issues remembering and normally need to brush up, Corbett has added bits here and there to help you piece it together.  I found that the pacing was wonderful in this one and the story had a lot of character development this time around.  I felt that Evie, Emil and Alex all moved forward proficiently, while adding many details that I have been waiting to get.  I also like some of the resolution that happened in this one, it created some unique moments that made me smile excessively.   I also loved that Evie began remembering more about her past lives.  Basically there was much to love with this one.

I really liked Evie in this one... Like A LOT.  I also found myself so much more sympathetic to her situation with the boys.  Her inner strength has grown and she has really started to make a stand for the fact that she can stand up for herself.  Actually, she makes some very good points about not only being able to save hers but theirs as well.  She now trusts what her instincts tell her but she sometimes keeps a little much to herself.  However, I feel the need to mention the boys keep far more from her than she does for them, and honestly with the chance of being locked away in my house I may hide stuff too.  Really I was just all around blown away by Evie, her growth and who she seems to be becoming.  I cannot even describe all of the ways that I am really hoping things get somewhat easier... eventually.

Where I feel bad for Evie and having to deal with two potential soul mates, I started to kind of feel bad for the guys as well.  With my theories on soul mates it is entirely possible for both guys to be right in some way but also a matter of finding the better fit.  The problem there is that Corbett has created two guys that each have seriously good points and reasons why they would work better and I get why it is such a hard choice.  The triangle in this one is different and enjoyable because there is solid reasoning behind it.  Also it is not like Evie boy flops.  She tries to minimize anything that is ridiculous and would cause more problems in the already complicated situation.  Emil and Alex freak out a little less as well but I expect that it cannot last forever.  Though there are moments I may hope for one or the other ultimately I am not sure who I am hoping gets the final yes.

Angela Corbett has created something that I am seriously becoming addicted to.  Though I look forward to the third and final book, I am really not sure how all of the needed information will be packed in there.  I am sure she will do it but the end of this one left me with far to many answers and far too much love for the characters for only one more book.  I am also curious (well the cover snob in me is), as to how she is going to create another visually stunning cover to match the literary treat that will await everyone on the inside!  I loved this one more than the last and only expect to love it more with the next one.  I believe that if you are a fan of soul mates and strong females that you should pick this up!!

I chose between them two hundred and fifty years ago in another life that I only remember in fragmented flashbacks, and it's only a matter of time before I'll have to choose again.  My life is complicated.

I looked at it longingly, feeling like I'd made the wrong food choice.  I hate when that happens.  I grimaced, thinking that if I couldn't decide what to have for lunch, how could I ever make decisions about bigger choices in my life?

Sitting in a house with a room full of testosterone is not the most pleasant experience.  I should know   I'd been surrounded by it in similar situations for months.  In that time, I'd learned testosterone causes mostly sane guys to lose their freaking minds, especially if they think the person they love is in danger.

It was a dumb choice, and I owned it.  I wouldn't make it again.  This was my life; it would never be normal.  I had to come to terms with that.

I shook my head again.  It was like I was battery powered and couldn't stop saying no.  I couldn't be "...".  The flashbacks I'd had were only flashbacks to my life as Cassandra.  If I was "...", I'd have a lot more history to flash back to.
