*New Adult Paranormal Romance*
I wanted Knox. There was no need to deny that fact.

Knox was the type of guy you gravitated to, who stood out in the crowd. It wasn't just his classically good-looking features and perpetual five o’clock shadow. It was his raw energy that entranced me, that made me feel like a giggly, fumbling high school girl, happy to be in his presence.

Yes, there’s no denying it, front man Knox Gunner was a sexy badass.

It didn't matter that he initially thought I was some bored, rich girl trying to live out some wild fantasy of being with a starving musician. It was uncomplicated and that's what we both wanted. At least that's what I convinced myself. I wasn't ready to admit to myself that my feelings for Knox were getting dangerously deep—waiting to lay siege on my heart. I was falling for him… and this was dangerous. The rules were clear: falling in love would obligate me to expose what I truly was, setting in motion his slow march to death.

**Mature Content Warning** 18+ for language, and adult situations.

There are no words to describe the addiction that I now have for the writing of Venez/Clarke.  Breaking the Storm was an experience like no other.  The book very much lived up to its new adult name, with steamy passion and pushing the limits scenes at every turn.  It was so hard to put this one down once I started, and with all honesty I may have had to take a cold shower after finishing.  Yup, the hot romance factor that filled these pages was nothing short of hot as hell.

What I loved was, that there was a lot to the plot and yet it was not so complex that it tied up my mind and took away from everything else.  You don't start quite where the Credence curse started but you get a glimpse into the past and a clue to some of what had gone on.  From there you meet the modern Credence woman and more specifically the youngest.  They have rules for love and what they shouldn't do but when something irresistible comes along how do you walk away.  Right from the start you know where the chemistry is and you know that it is not going to be that simple.  Stormy and Knox may have the fire but it's the fight that they need.  Heaven knows, their combined sex appeal pours off the pages.

I liked Stormy, she was real.  What I particularly liked, was how she had built the emotional wall.  I know that sounds odd but I know from experience that when you are burned by someone you feel strongly for or love (then you have her curse problem), it's easier to block the emotion than feel the pain.  However, when Knox strides back into her life and refuses to take anything less than her being his submissive... well things heat up more than a little.  Stormy is not used to this role and even more upset that it is the one guy that she ever let her guard down doing it.  Though this does not stop her from telling him and everyone else exactly what she thinks.  This girl speaks her mind and when she has had enough everyone hears it.  Admittedly Knox is her soft spot but she is not happy about it.

Knox will honestly rock your world.  Yes he is a bad boy rocker but with his dom ways and being a wolf-shifter... lets just say he will rock your world in more than one way.  I have read my fair share of bad boys lately and just when I thought I had had enough, Knox showed me there is no such thing as enough.  When it comes to subs and doms I have never put much thought into it.  Yes, I have read the books and know what an alpha male can be like but Knox's tastes were not over done and were just enough to help the heart race a little faster.  Though he pushed Stormy to do things she normally would not do, it was not beyond belief and for the most part it was things she liked but didn't know about yet.  When Knox and Stormy get together there is no doubt that they are not only meant to be together.  There is also the fact that it is obvious that he adores Stormy, he is infatuated with her and her realistic female allure.

There are so many other characters in this book that deserve recognition but I do not want to drone on and make this book seem less than it is.

My heart stuttered, shutting down that part of me that was willing to take a chance on love.  Never again.  He was the last man I'd ever open my heart to again.  He's gone.  History.  The past I would never repeat again.
Unlike most mothers who encouraged their daughters to cover up, Mom's motto was less was more, tight was right, and classy was the fine line between stripper wear and couture.
Ripples of arousal went through my body before panic set in.  Oh, hell no!  I refused to let him turn me into some simpering submissive.  I turned on my heels and leveled a glare that made most men curl up and wither away.  But of course, Knox was not most men.
Light smiled, blinking her eyelashes dramatically.  "But it's for the children.  Just think of all the families you'll provide with affordable homes just by shaking that ass.  Besides, it will be an enriching experience... for all involved."
